Simply Birth™ at Intermountain Health is ideal for families seeking low-intervention, unmedicated birth. Enjoy home-birth-like freedom and comfort with accessible medical support.
We create an individualized education plan for you and we're strongly committed to supporting your birth preferences. Simply Birth™ suites are available at Cedar City hospital, Layton hospital, and St. George hospital in Utah.
Spacious birthing suites
Our Simply Birth™ birthing suites have a beautiful home-like design with large relaxation tubs. These suites are located within the Labor & Delivery unit.
Simply Birth™ birthing suite
You may be a good candidate for Simply Birth™ if you:
- Are interested in an unmedicated birth
- Are willing to learn alternative pain management and related techniques for labor
- Have a lower risk pregnancy
- Are pregnant with a single baby
- Go into labor (without an induction) between 37-41 weeks
- Would like a shorter length of stay in the hospital
- Have a doula or another labor support person
- Are researching a birthing center
